Special Vacancy Notice
The Eastern Kern County Resource Conservation District (EKCRCD) has an unscheduled vacancy on its board and is seeking applicants. If you are interested in conserving natural resources, improving the environment, and are ready to give back to your community, this might be your chance to get involved.
Qualifications for appointment are that an applicant must be a landowner (or the designated agent of a landowner) in the district, reside in the district, and be a registered voter in California (Public Resources Code, Section 9352). If you reside in but do not own land within the district, you may serve as an associate director. Associate directors cannot vote but may serve on committees. After two years associate directors are eligible to become directors.

Richmond Rd. , Ridgecrest, or drop it off at the same address (the BLM Ridgecrest Field Office) from 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM Monday-Friday except federal holidays.
